The Miss Universo Uruguay 2006 was held on March 18, 2006. There were 18 candidates for the national title. The winner represented Uruguay at Miss Universe 2006, Reina Hispanoamericana 2006 and Miss Continente Americano 2006. The First Runner-Up was entered for Miss Maja Mundial 2006; the Second Runner-Up Miss Intercontinental 2006; the Third Runner-Up Miss Globe International 2006 and the Fourth Runner-Up Supermodel of the World 2006.
